Is the Miami or Hollywood, FL Amtrak station safe at 7:00-8:00PM?
Hey, Me and my friend will arrive from Orlando Amtrak station to the Miami Amtrak station which located in Hialeah area near Allapattah neighborhood in Miami. We will get there approximately between 7:00PM to 8:00PM (Saturday). We will need to get from there to the Golden strand resort, Sunny Isles Beach. So my question is, if it will be safe for two 18 yo male tourists with trolley bags to walk about 1/2 mile in that area at dark, to the nearest bus stop that will take us to Sunny Isles Beach? If we will have to take a cab from the Amtrak station to Sunny Isles Beach, which is better station to depart at - Hollywood Amtrak station or Miami Amtrak station? (which is safer? which is easier to catch a taxi at?) there are going to be any cabs in one of this stations or we will need to call one? Thank you very much...

No, the station is safe but it is not safe to wak the 1/2 mile in the dark..You and your friends will be marks because your luggage is a dead give away that you are tourists..Spend the extra money and take a cab.

I'm 14 I'm going to Hialeah Miami Lakes Highschool and my brother gratuated from their he said the school is 75% Hispanics (I'm Hispanic 2) and the rest is all mixed in! I AM VERY NERVOUS! I wanna kno what will I need or what should I bring on first day? How do I stop being nervouse n make some new friends? And the most nervous of all I'm taking a bus! :( Thanks n please don't be mean :) any advice will help

Bring a notebook, pen, pencil, lunch/money and a bag to put stuff in, like a tote bag. You can't really help be nervous, it's natural. Be nice, but be yourself.! I don't know what you're asking about the bus?

hi, im new to the area & im learning my around around, but cant find the correct bus route. please help me....my starting address is: Tri rail station E 25th St Hialeah, FL 33013 & my ending address to where i wanna end up at is : Florida Medical Center 5000 W Oakland Park Blvd Ft. Lauderdale , FL 33313. i used mapquest, but im not driving. im taking the bus. can someone tell me how to get there correctly on a bus? thank you soooo soooo much!!!

Your best bet would be to go to the transit system's website. They probably have a feature whereby you can enter your start and destination and get details on how to carry out your trip.

Do i have a torn meniscus?
i am 13 years old and today is 3/13 and on 3/11 i was sitting on my leg on a bus ride from hialeah to coral gables. when i got off the bus, my knee started hurting when i would bend it. if i bent it far enough i could also hear my bone pop. today it doesn't hurt as much. did i just tear it, stretch it out too much or what? if it is torn, do you think it can heal without surgery?

Sounds like you have ligament laxity. Consult with your doctor and get a referral to a physical therapist to strengthen your knee. It's best if you take care of that knee right away before it gets worse down the road.
