i am 14 5'7 and 150 pounds. i want to know what are my chances of making the high school j.v team next year. i have been playing for 10 years,and i love baseball. i can play any position and i can play them good i am the best defensive player in my league. i ma 4th batter in my team i barley strike out but i dont hit too much for power i hit more for contact and i do have some power i just dont hit long bombs i hit hard grounders in the hole. i am also hoping to start hitting harder. i do have muscles its just i dont hit home runs. i run pretty fast for my size and weight.i have good vision so i know whats strikes and ball.s i can also pitch i have a 70+ mph fastball a fork ball and a 12-6 . my best position is 3rd base i have a good arm so i can throw easily from 3rd to 1st. i can adjust reel quick to. i have played in travel teams before but not for a long time. do you think i can make the team??? just if u wanted to know i want to join the t-beards from Hialeah high school.

Your chances are probably good, but you probably would be further down the batting lineup. Contact hitter lead off or hit closer to the bottom. How many kid try out for the team? There is a High school team round me that has 125 kids tryout for one team. odds aren't good.
