Somebody made all those laws up just to fill their website up with keywords so it would be indexed by Google and so people like you would send people to the website with "hey look at these crazy laws they have in Florida!". Steal a horse in Florida, I guarantee the law is not a hanging.

Really interesting, though I should point out that molest is really just another way of saying bother, interfere with, or annoy. With the deer and the trash can, it's not meant in the sexual sense.

Ok so I didn't actually read all of them but I did read the first few and I think what happened is that some old laws just never got changed....like the horse theft thing penalty is death by hanging. I read a lot of books and one of the common things among the ones set in the 'old west' is that horse thieves were hung for stealing horses.
