I live in South Florida, Hialeah Gardens to be exact. I really, really need to get to central Illinois, the Champaign-Urbana area. I need to get there as quick as possible and have be as cheap as possible. It's approximately 1300 miles between point A and point B. Quick doesn't matter so much as does cheap. Please, help me out. And I really can't be taking flights, I need to know the right trains to get on, I need some kind of plan. I've heard flights from Miami to Chicago can be as cheap as 200 dollars, so taking a bunch of trains can't be so bad. Thank you so much in advance.

You can easily get the cheap flight tickets with great discount offers but you just need to do proper research on that.

You can go and check on greyhound buses which travel anywhere you want, and they are cheap. Also you can check on the AMTRAK but I think it's not as cheap as the buses. But by airplane you can find some really good and cheap deals.
