Skateboard decks typically cost around 50 bucks at local skate shops. However, you are referring to a skate shop in a mall, which leads me to believe that it's a chain and not a local skate shop. So it might be a little bit more expensive. At the chain shop in my mall, standard decks cost about 55 or 60 bucks.

Local tend to sell Pro Models cheaper so that there Business will start boomin. But usually a Pro Model deck in a good shop will cost about $54.99 - $59.99. My local shop has them priced at $44.99. So make sure you look around a bit. Enjoy Skateboarding
